Watermead Business Park, Leicester
A brand new state-of-the-art building has been completed in Syston Leicester at the Watermead Business Park. This building, the first of it’s kind in the Midlands, is the project and new offices for Interserve, one of the world's foremost support services and construction companies.
These new offices have been built using the design principles of PassivHaus, a well established German based building standard which reduces energy costs by 90% when compared to a traditional build.
As in keeping with the energy performance standards of this building, Interserve were in need of an access solution that would help with this. A platform lift was the answer.
Axess 4 All successfully installed a A5000 vertical platform lift. This is a screw driven unit serving 2 levels and incorporating our energy saving automatic shaft lighting feature, which turns off after a preset time and switches back on when a landing button is pressed, which makes this the ideal access solution for a building of this kind.
Axess 4 All are delighted to have been part of this project, and having the A5000 lift in this state-of-the-art building will give better access and mobility for all staff and visitors of this new and exciting building.
